Queen Latifah Sues
The actress and singer Queen Latifah sued mali film production company that helped finance the film "an ideal vacation," on Wednesday, saying she has not paid any money for the film.
Lawyers for Queen Latifah, Oscar-nominated actress and Grammy Award-winning singer whose real name is Dana Owens, said in a lawsuit filed in Manhattan Federal Court, California-based company, the Perfect Christmas Productions, is a violation of the contract and owes it to her 275000 $ Cameo role in the movie.
"Ideal vacation," which was also produced by Owens, 38, was released in December 2007, starring Terrence Howard and Gabrielle Union. It grossed more than 5.8 million dollars by February, 2008 in the United States, according to Box Office Mojo.
Cause said Perfect Productions Christmas is believed to have paid several million dollars by third parties for the "perfect holiday", which was originally known as the "perfect Christmas."
